I was browsing through some old college documents and ran across this graphic from my Design 1 class. Pretty basic stuff, but it was an awesome course – taught by Scott Kolbo – his personal site is Existential Ape.
This collage was part of my Beauty project. We were told to create something and explain the “beauty” in it – and we were not allowed to use any babies, or kittens or sunsets [even though some people still did…]. Mine was the beauty of the diversity of human emotions [yes, even the beauty of the human expression more commonly known as “the bird”]. For a more detailed view, click on the graphic on the right. Does that represent anything you’ve been feeling toward God recently? To me, there are a variety of emotions expressed in the collage. Anger, despair, frustration, surrender, worship. What do you think?
