[Some of you may be wondering about the title of this post. Well, it was brought to my attention that many of my friends here at Princeton referred to this post as one that made them “puke in their mouth.” Something about it being too gushy, too cheesy, etc. So, this post is dedicated to all of you “bro-that-was-a-puke-in-your-mouth-post” PTS friends out there.]
Sarah spent the weekend visiting up here in Princeton and we had a great time. We had a nice little pizza party with friends, went to the 2nd Brown Party, walked around the Princeton University campus, saw the University Chapel, got ice-cream at Thomas Sweets in Princeton and spent a day in NYC. We met up with one of Sarah’s good friends in the early afternoon and then hung out in Central Park for awhile, got tickets to RENT (Rent is NOT lame, although we will be going back to see Wicked! sometime), saw the WTC site, ate a hot dog from a street vendor, walked around a lot, had dinner at McDonald’s in Times Square and had a great time.
The weekend was good – it was good for us to be together again, talk through some future-life stuff and continue in the life-long process of learning how to be with one another, love one another and communicate with each other. I could go on but then it would really be classified as a “puke-in-your-mouth” post, and we wouldn’t want that. At any rate, it was great to be able to spend the weekend with Sarah, and once again, like in all long-distance relationships, the countdown begins again (27 days), until I head down to Columbia for a week.
