Public Confession

November 26, 2003 Adam Walker Cleaveland

I have had this on my chest for the past few weeks — something I felt needed to be shared with my loyal blog friends. It is incredibly hard to be this vulnerable with all of you, but I feel this is the next step needed to continue developing our blog friendship.

I, Adam Cleaveland, have an addiction.

Last January, I purchased a new cell phone with USCellular. For practically every day since then, I have played Snake. It is a serious addiction. I really can’t remember a day that has gone by that I didn’t play Snake. I know this is a serious issue. But, I am good at it. Like, really good. I put my HIGH SCORE online so you couldn’t say “Yah, right…” and it is on the highest level. Has anyone beat score of 2335 before?

I really just don’t know what to do with myself. I want to stop. But every time I sit down, with nothing to do, I bust out my little Nokia and start playing. If anyone knows where I might find some help with this issue – please let me know.
