PTS Has Decided…

December 30, 2003 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Got word from Princeton, and the word is they like me. Which is good. Because I wanted them to like me. I’ll most likely be starting next fall [although, summer intensive Greek would be exciting]. I got into the M.Div./M.A. Dual-Degree program; just keeping my options open.

My job here in Wendell will be done May 31, 2004. After that, I will move home and then [most likely] fly down to Texas and drive back up to Seattle with my friend Josh Cleveland. I’m applying to be on Volunteer staff at the Abbey of The Iona Community. Iona is a tiny island off the coast of Scotland. [From their website: The Iona Community, founded in 1938 by the Rev George MacLeod, is an ecumenical Christian community of men and women from different walks of life and different traditions in the Christian church that is committed to seeking new ways of living the gospel of Jesus Christ in today’s world.] After that, I will be at home, going to a family reunion, maybe work some temp jobs in the Olympia area, and then head to Princeton in September.
