Soul Caliber…!

April 24, 2004 Adam Walker Cleaveland

It’s 5pm and I just woke up. Spent last night at a jr-high all-nighter. We left the church at 7pm, played games all through the night, I napped from 7-8am, and then we drove home. Went to GameWorld (big arcade) in Boise and I spent the first 1.5 hours playing the game Soul Caliber. I rocked! I beat our adults, I beat students who really “knew” the game…it was amazing. It was like a drug – numbing, but a huge adrenaline rush to kick someone’s ass [the above picture is me just wasting a kid who supposedly “had never lost”…whatever] It was beautiful. Kids had a great time, but all the kids in my car fell asleep on the ride home (the other car’s kids were loud and obnoxious…) and I had a hard time staying awake. Still, the fact that you know you have 3 “other” lives in your car kind of makes you stay awake! So, a long but fun night.
