Timbuk2 Commute

August 1, 2004 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Had a nice little REI dividend to spend last week and so I purchased an orange Crippy Duck Crumpler bag – which was actually pretty sweet, except for a huge piece of Velcro that I realized would be way too loud when I snuck into class late next year. So I returned it, and now I’m a proud owner of a Timbuk2 Laptop/Messenger bag called the Commute. It’s pretty damn gorgeous, and has a very organized inside layout, with tons of pockets and it’s waterproof and just very, very cool. So I feel like I’m really ready now. The only thing that’s funny. I returned the Crumpler mainly b/c of the Velcro (and it just was too small) – and now my new Timbuk2 bag has 2 big pieces of Velcro on the front. Oh well. I can always undo the Velcro before entering class…
