Well, I did it. I did some manual labor. Worked for my cousin Wes, yesterday and this morning. Shoveled some plaster, went to the dump, demolished a closet and got to play with a hammer and crow-bar. Pretty fun stuff. Sometimes I think I’m going into the ministry (or at least something like that) so I don’t have to actually *work* and do any sort of manual labor. I mean, I guess I can do it, and sometimes it’s fun (demolishing things…not necessarily cleaning up) – but, I don’t know if it’s really my calling. ;) Anyway, it was a good time to hang out with Wes and his wife Jaime, and see their place in Seattle and get a feel for what their life is like (as much as you can in 1.5 days). I hope you enjoy these pictures, and for those of you who have known me for a long time…see! I can work and get dirty!
I’m sitting at the Apple Store in Seattle and my Powerbook is back in my hands…all of my files still in it, screen hinge fixed and I’m a very happy man. Gonna hang out here for the afternoon/evening. They are doing some outdoor concerts at University Village and we get to hear some Beatles music tonight. Anyone in the Seattle area…? Come on by the Apple Store at University Village or give me a call (360.556.1961).
