Another early morning, getting up at 5am, having some breakfast in Columbus and we were off on our 8hr trek to Princeton today. It felt good to be on the last leg of the trip, and it was a beautiful day for driving. Finally no rain, and just nice, open, and very beautiful roads. Even though the Interstate wasn’t particularly gorgeous, the green trees on rolling hills of Pennsylvania were a nice treat today. We made a few stops, grabbed lunch and kept on our way. We pulled into Princeton this evening around 4pm or so. This is me holding Andrew’s son, Evan, in celebration of my arrival. We hung out a bit this afternoon and then went to dinner at The Olive Garden, and we’re just hanging out right now at Andrew’s place. Tomorrow will be a busy day of getting moved in, room arranged, and all that jazz…thanks for all of you who joined along on the road, and I guess I’m just a little disappointed that my shameless-self-promotion didn’t work as well as I had hoped, but that’s okay. It was fun, and I got plenty of odd looks from people along the road. I’ll post some shots of my room when I get it all done-up, because I know you’re all just dying to see pictures of my dorm room, and I know some of you out there want to see pictures of my really comfortable bed and duvet that I’m really excited about…so…until then, here are some more fun pictures for your enjoyment…
Gross bugs. Emily told me they’d bite. I didn’t believe her. I got a few bites.
I love the trees lining the roads out here. That’s all.
Emily and I, upon arrival in Princeton…roadtrip buds…
