Dress Like Rhoda Day!

February 18, 2005 Adam Walker Cleaveland

I first met Rhoda while I was working at Calvin Crest. He’s a man with a huge heart, a great football coach and an infectious smile (whoa, this is almost turning into another tribute). Anyway, it was his birthday today, and a good friend organized the First Official Dress-like-Rhoda Day! Some of us West-coasters have been accused of “going East-coast” when it comes to our wardrobe…not Rhoda, my friends! This guy loves the jeans, tennis shoes, grey-hooded pullover sweatshirt, with the vest and a hat on backwards! It’s the Rhoda-style, and it’s beautiful! The funny thing was that he actually dressed up a little bit on this day, so he’s the one in the back row, to the right of that really big Native-American brother (I even heard that he’s starting the Native American Student Society of PTS) with the purple hat…

…anyway, Happy Birthday Rhoda! It’s been a blessing having you as a friend, and I look forward to 3.5 more years together…
