Princeton Presbyterians

September 12, 2005 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Started with my Field Education placement yesterday morning – as most of you know, I’m working with a campus ministry group at Princeton University called Princeton Presbyterians. I’m very excited for this chance to test out my interest and potential calling to ministry to college/university students, and on this particular type of campus as well, the university setting. I’ll be hanging with students at coffee, attending worship at Nassau Presbyterian Church with them, doing a Sunday-night dinner, and spending time in book study groups and worship throughout the week, in addition to doing service activities with them, and retreats. I’m very excited about this year and the chance to work with a great boss.

I’m not excited about having to set up my dorm room and run around today and see all of those “important people” (registrar, housing, fin. aid, the “bursar” and many other people who want my time, money and forms…forms…forms…). As soon as classes start up, I’ll have some good stuff to be blogging about.
