12 hours and 1 Poang Chair

On the drive home from work yesterday, I heard that IKEA Atlanta was celebrating their 1-yr birthday today, and that the first person there at the opening of the store would receive a $1000 gift card and the first 100 customers would get a free Poang chair. So after dinner and a movie with Sarah last night, I drove down to IKEA at around 10.30pm. I stayed up all night, found myself getting caught up in the mob-mentality/frenzy and began thinking that I was going to win the $1000. At one point, they were going to make it a mad-dash and the 1st person who touched the IKEA worker won the $1k, but they eventually changed it to a raffle, which I lost. But I met some fun people in line today, as they made us stand in line from 6-10am for the chair, and now I have the chair…
