Classes Begin: Off to NYC

September 19, 2007 Adam Walker Cleaveland

After a very nice Convocation last night, Opening Communion Service this morning and a few classes, Sarah and I thought it best to celebrate classes beginning by leaving town and heading up to NYC two days this week. We still haven’t quite figured out how to navigate NYC and we end up walking around a lot, wondering how best to spend our time. But we did have some fun and got some great photos. Some highlights included: street fair in Little Italy, Chinatown, City Grill for dinner, Magnolia Bakery for cupcakes, Moby’s teany cafe and a foiled attempt at winning Wicked tickets (we’ve lost the lottery 3 times). I’d like to thank NJ Transit for making these trips to NYC possible for seminarians – and other students. I’ll post some more about courses and what this semester will look like as soon as I figure out my schedule – I’m currently adding/dropping and still trying to figure out my life.
