I had a wonderful birthday party yesterday – started out with whiffle ball, a great game! I didn’t do so bad if I do say so myself, hitting at least two home runs, I think. We played whiffle ball for awhile, then started up the grills, hung out with lots of friends, and had a birthday haiku reading as well. There were some very creative haikus written, and I’ll post them below. I had a friend taking photos – and they turned out really well (his name is Joel Bock – you should check out his stuff). You can check out the photos from my birthday party here. The haikus are below.

And finally, a collection of 5 haikus collection entitled “On the occasion of Adam’s twenty-eighth birthday, we pause to consider his qualities, his virtues, his household, and overall merits.” This collection was composed by Nate Van Yperen and Elaine James.
