Bruce Reyes-Chow Elected Moderator

June 22, 2008 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Bruce Reyes-Chow has just been elected as the new Moderator of the 218th General Assembly (2008). Bruce is the techno-savvy pastor of Mission Bay Community Church in San Francisco and has been very active in the church. I’m sure he will lead us well this week as we negotiate the business meetings of the General Assembly. However, more importantly, I believe he will lead us well in the next two years, as he has a great vision for the future of the Presbyterian church (which is more important than being able to negotiate Robert’s Rules well).

To learn more about his journey toward being elected Moderator, or to learn more about Bruce, be sure and check out both his Moderator blog and his personal blog.
