I wanted to share with you about a new project that my friend Spencer Burke is heading up called TheOOZE.TV. TheOOZE.TV is a visual online resource for conversation about the church and culture. I watched the first one with Shane Claiborne while at the gym once and it was great. So far the shows have highlighted Shane Claiborne, New York-based artist Mako, and many others.
Since it was just Earth Day, you might be interested in their most recent episode, Claudio Oliver: Turning Grease into Gospel. Claudio is from Brazil and shares what his church community is doing to revive his neighborhood and the environment at the same time. You can check out all the other episodes, and be watching for new shows each Tuesday. Included are small group questions for each short (approx 10 min.) video. You can download them, stream them or subscribe to them in iTunes and have them on your iPod automatically each week.
