I’ve blogged before about why I love StudioPress and the work they do, but after getting a chance to finally meet some of the StudioPress folks last Friday, I feel compelled to do so again.
I’ve been following the work of Brian Gardner, founder of StudioPress, for quite awhile. He has created an absolutely amazing theme framework in Genesis, as well as an amazing brand with StudioPress and the move to join up with CopyBlogger Media. Not only that, but he is genuinely an insanely nice guy and a man of faith. I won’t mention names, but some of the theme developers I’ve worked with in the past, while having pretty dang good skills, were also kind of jerks.
I feel like with Brian, Nathan and all the other people behind StudioPress, you know that you’re getting a quality product from people who are really going to be there to support you and help you make the most out of the product.
Out of all the themes and frameworks that I’ve worked with, the Genesis Framework and Genesis Child Themes that StudioPress comes out with, is by far the best. I was able to sit down with a friend at Peet’s for about 2 hours and we quickly came up with her Studio Unfiltered site. I was also able to put together this New Song Camping website for a colleague in a very short time as well.
They keep Genesis updated with all of the latest WordPress improvements, and are always adding unique and extremely easy to use and helpful functions with Genesis – and it’s a 1-Click upgrade. That’s a huge bonus for me, and for clients who just need to click a button to get the latest-and-greatest Genesis update on their sites. And because they use the Genesis Child Themes, their design is never affected.
Anyway – whether you’re a WordPress developer and are interested in something like their Pro Plus All-Theme Package (an amazing deal! You get all the additional themes they create after your purchase date as well!) or whether you’re a blogger looking for a sleek blogging theme like Minimum (it’s what I use on DazedDad.com), you’ll find that you can’t go wrong with Genesis from StudioPress!
I was not paid for this post, but the links are affiliate links, and I’ll receive a portion of the purchase price. StudioPress has an amazing Affiliate Sales program, and in the past year, I’ve made close to $2,000 just through these links. So this is another great way to receive some small, passive, income by sharing about an amazing theme.
