It’s been decided. And it’s a good story.
A few weeks ago, Sarah and I talked about names…we had quite a few that we were tossing around. I don’t know exactly why, but I’ve been dragging my feet a bit about settling on a name…I did it with Micah and Judah as well, but love the names we chose for them. So, we took a walk and talked about some different options. There were probably about 8 first names we were talking about. A few days later, we tossed around a couple different middle names.
Early the next week, I wrote down a name and thought about it for awhile: Caleb Eli Walker Cleaveland (though I was also wondering about Caleb Elijah).
Later that week, Sarah said she’d decided on a name. When I asked her what the name was, she told me what she had decided:Â Caleb Elijah Walker Cleaveland.
Not bad huh? Well, there is the fact that the names are both from the Hebrew Scriptures and have some pretty good stories and meanings behind them (Caleb: faithful/bold; Elijah: The Lord is my God)…and the fact that we come up with basically the same name?
Well, there it is. On January 8th (or thereabouts), we’ll be excited to be able to introduce you to Caleb Elijah Walker Cleaveland.
