If you’re like me, you’re often looking for great youth ministry resources, and Google is your best friend. But sometimes you end up having to sift through a whole lot of crap to find good games, activities, lessons, etc. What if there was a website similar where people could post ideas and resources and they could be “favorited” and therefore the best ideas would rise to the top, similar to Digg.com or other sites that allow users to rate submissions?
Enter Student Ministry Hub. This is from the website’s press release:
5marks LLC, has just released a new free web app for youth pastors and youth workers. studentministryhub.com is a crowd sourced link repository for student ministry links and resources from around the web. Users can sign into studentministryhub.com using their Twitter or Facebook accounts. Once signed in, they can submit links to their favorite student ministry resources from around the web. They can also favorite links which will store them in their favorites for future reference. The more that a link is favorited, the higher up it will sit in its category, thereby making the best and most popular links easily accessible to all youth workers looking for resources. The links will then drive the user to the original site. We want studentministryhub.com to be the place where youth workers go when they are looking for articles and resources related to student ministry.
Check it out – give it a whirl – and start adding your own great ideas so we can all benefit!
