Lent Photo-a-Day: Leave

March 2, 2013 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Leave

Today’s word was “Leave” and I “left” social networking and unplugged since last night at 6pm until tonight at 6pm. Surprisingly…I didn’t really think much about it. I didn’t miss much…14 emails and many of them were just junk. I didn’t miss any Twitter replies, and had some Facebook notifications. Makes me think that perhaps Friday nights might be a good time to just leave the tech off when I can…

I played with Caleb today, finished “The Corrections” by Jonathan Franzen and ran some errands. The only time I found it annoying to have my cell phone off was when I was at Costco and had a few questions for Sarah about some items I was picking up.

A good practice to do occasionally…
