Lent Photo-a-Day: Dream

March 20, 2013 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Theology-Pub

We had about 30 people last night meet at Alex’s to discuss politics and faith, how we sought to integrate them in our lives, and what role(s) we thought pastors/clergy persons had in the congregations for giving messages that touched on political issues.

It was a wonderful night of conversation, facilitated by Rabbi Joshua Boettiger from Temple Emek Shalom, and we had a large from their congregation join us as well.

This continues to be a real dream come true for me – the opportunity to meet together in public spaces for these important conversations about faith and spirituality. Love being able to do them, and am grateful to Alex’s for giving us the space.
