Hyperthermia

February 18, 2004 Adam Walker Cleaveland

Fun with an ’80s dance. The kids totally got into it, and loved dancing to the music of the ’80s. I love “Dying In Your Arms Tonight.” Wow. What a song…

A little broom hockey on an ice rink. The kids loved it when I would totally miss the ball and then proceed to land on my butt (which I did EVERY time – in fact, two times when I missed I just yelled out very loudly SHIT!). Yah, kids think it’s pretty hilarious when the worship leader swears it up on the ice.

The group of kids/leaders we had. Small group (around 25 students) but such a perfect group. They were wonderful kids and we had a ton of fun with them.

The group from Wendell. They came home with new friendships, tons of hilarious stories and were all glad they decided to go. Hyperthermia went really well and we’re already in the planning stages for a junior high lock-in. Thank you Lord!
