I’m very excited about Dave Fleming’s new book. Dave recently had a book published by emergent/ys called Leadership Wisdom from Unlikely Voices, and his new book is called The Seeker’s Way, and the website is here. Looks like it will be a really sweet book. Brian McLaren said the following about it: “I’m a huge fan of all Dave Fleming’s work. He’s brilliant for starters, and more – he’s an energetic and engaging writer who lives what he writes about. I’m especially enthusiastic about ‘The Seekers’ Way’ because it presents an approach to spiritual life and growth that is accessible to everyone and gives resources both to the beginner and the seasoned seeker.”
I’ll be putting up my review of it when I get my copy and give it a read, but Dave will also probably be hanging around pomomusings for a little interview or question-and-answer about the book, so be looking for that. Lastly, here is a description of the book on the book’s flyer:
“The Seeker’s Way brings hope to many Christians – and others – who are longing for a deeper, more mysterious expression of their faith and who want to remain connected to a tradition that often lacks depth. It speaks to the tender and curious place within their hearts that simply wants something more than what they have found thus far. It encourages those who want more to embrace their search with joy and passion and gives them a broad framework from which to construct a seeker’s faith. Not a book about finding answers or making a case for faith, The Seeker’s Way helps those who seek to open themselves to a journey characterized by meaning, authenticity, and wholeness.”
