UPDATE: So Columbia went 3-0 and two Princeton teams did as well. So it was Columbia v. Princeton in the Championship Game. The team we played was great; they won their previous games today 17-2, 17-3, 17-5. So we played them. And they won, 6-5. It was tied up for most of the game until we went 2 down. All in all, it was a great game – we all matched up very, very well. I suppose the biggest news is that now that I’m 27, I decided it was about time, I dive for the frisbee for the very first time in my life. It was fun. I was running after it, and then all of a sudden – it seems the only appropriate thing to do would be to dive. And I did. And it was glorious…I missed the frisbee, but…oh well. Anyway, more pictures later, but perhaps this will keep you entertained.
I’m in Richmond, VA today playing in a Presbyterian Seminary Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. I had a great time in 2005 and 2006 (although the weather was bad last year) — so I can only hope this year will be good as well. It will be a little different as I am playing for Columbia Theological Seminary instead of Princeton Theological Seminary. Hopefully my Princeton friends forgot that my forehand is actually my stronger throw. It will be fun to play against Princeton, and I think Columbia is actually bringing up a pretty good team, especially since we have a South African playing for us!
